The day before Christmas Eve. Tay has to work Christmas Eve and Christmas Day :(
As usual...we don't get to celebrate the holiday on the holiday, but that's fine by me. I had the option to go on home and watch my niece and nephew open Christmas presents, but I decided that I couldn't let Tater be alone on Christmas.
So we did our Christmas yesterday, Thursday, or Christmas Eve Eve. I woke up before Tay and started watching bad TV (Police Women of Memphis) - yeah I know, please don't judge me :)
Tay woke up and we cooked a nice big breakfast together, which is something that's normally in our routine...After cooking and eating and cleaning, Tay thought that we should go ahead and do exchange our Christmas gifts...Fine by me!

We spent all afternoon opening gifts and listening to Josh Groban sing Christmas songs as loud as possible...Pretty darn good day.

We got each other the same Christmas Card...Guess that's a good thing, huh?
Even though we've already exchanged gifts, tonight we will still bake some cookies for Santa, and have our usual Christmas Dinner...steak and taters. And then after eating, it will be time for our own little Christmas tradition...Love, Actually. Such a great movie. We've already watched Christmas Vacation (twice), A Christmas Story, Home Alone, the Santa Claus, and Christmas with the Kranks...All in all, going to be a good Christmas. Did I mention that when Tay gets off work Sunday night, we will be heading to the Delta for more family time?! Excited! Get to see family, and eat, nothing better :)
