Engagement: Carly and Matt

Shooting Carly and Matt's engagements photos was such a good time. These two are great together. They are totally in love and feed off of one another. Like any girl, Carly was of course excited about the engagement session, but poor Matt was the complete opposite. He thought that taking engagement pictures meant sitting in a studio all day and doing that 6th grade cheese pose. Boy was he wrong! I prefer to get out and let the couple have fun while taking pictures, and I love to capture them acting natural, and just goofing off.

The only bad thing about the day we choose for the pictures was the weather, the wind was unbelievable! Everywhere we went, we couldn't catch a break from the wind. I thank God I was only taking the pictures and not having my picture taken.

And I also believe that the second photo deserves an explanation. According to Carly, Matt loves to get on his soapbox and "preach" to her. I'll summarize his rant: "When I come home from work, all I ask for is one beer, just one. One measly beer. It's not much. It's really not. I just want to come home, put my feet up, drink a beer and watch football. Does she understand? Oh no!" He went on for quite a bit longer and it was hysterical.

I cannot wait till April to document this couple's wedding!
