With Thanksgiving and family being in town, this post is a little late, but only by a few days. Our sweet baby Shepherd is 4 months old and is honestly the light of our life.
He's such a different baby that how Henry was at this age. He's giddy and playful and full of joy and giggles at almost everything. He's so much fun to be around.
He's wearing size 3 diapers and 6-9 month clothes. He is a beast.
He's weighing in at 19.6 pounds. He's the size of a 9 month old.
He loves his Norman, likes his big brother Henry, loves to front face in the baby carrier and sleeps amazingly in his car seat.
He's gotten really efficient at nursing and it's so much easier now. He will nurse for 10-15 minutes and then he's a chill little dude for a couple of hours. It's definitely different from the first few weeks when all he did was EAT...constantly. He's still loving mama's milk and will continue to until he decides its time to quit. I don't have a goal. My goal is tomorrow. And so far, everyday, we make our goal.
He won't take a paci and still fights the bottle, I guess he just loves his mama. And I am okay with that!
He wakes up twice a night to nurse, but daddy has the first wake up (11-1) and mama does the second. He likes to scream and talk and be extremely vocal, but it's adorable.
I have to say that Henry was/is a birth control baby...Shepherd is NOT. If you are debating on having kids or adding more, don't be around Shepherd. You will immediately decide you have to have one. Honestly y'all, he's that great. And we are thankful. So thankful.
