A Pilgrimage to see a moose

As the perfectly eloquent Clark W. Griswold put it, "We're ten hours from the blanking fun park and you want to bail out. Well I'll tell you something, this is no longer a vacation, it's a quest. It's a quest for fun, I'm gonna have fun and you're gonna have fun, we're all gonna have so much blanking fun we'll need plastic surgery to remove our blanking smiles! You'll be whistling Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah out of your assholes! I gotta be crazy; I'm on a pilgrimage to see a moose! Praise Marty Moose! Holy shit!


We traveled to Disneyworld on CHRISTMAS DAY. Stupid? Crazy? Overbooked flights? Cranky TSA agents? Filled to the brim with fun? You bet!

Our first photo at Disneyworld. At Magic Kingdom. Our shirts were a big hit that day. We even made the cranky TSA agents laugh. I consider that a job well done. And when I told Tay that we would be wearing matching shirts, we was a bit apprehensive. His apprehension didn't last long though!

Expedition Everest!

Safari at Animal Kingdom park yielded an elephant's ass. That I had to document!

My favorite ride. Tay and I made it a point to go back to this park every night and ride it. And thank God, one night while we were there, this park had extra magic hours and we rode it about 10 times in a row, with no waiting!

Speaking of waiting....way up on that hill is Hogwarts. A two hour wait. That we braved. But, to be honest, we did bitch endlessly about it. In the end, totally worth the wait.

A little towel animal thanks to our cleaning lady, Bertha. 

Interesting story - completely off topic: I think that Bertha is a perfect name for a large black woman. Don't ask me why, it's just how I feel. Anywho, in our ever constant chit-chat about future Skelton kids, I asked Tay that if we were to adopt a black child, could we name her Bertha? Tay said sure! But what about a middle name? i suggested Loquacious; which means talkative.

So long pointless story: Our possible adoptive black child will be named Bertha Loquacious or BerQua for short. I giggled and snorted for hours after coming up with this name.

I never went to Disneyworld as a child. Parents were fish farmers, you farmed fish in the summer = no summer Disneyworld vacay for us. The first time I went was with my boyfriend at the time, Tater! It was his first time too. We loved it! And for our second trip back, we were much more seasoned and knew what to hit, what not to hit, and how to just relax and walk to Norway to grab a beer when you are starting to lose your patience!
