In the previous post, I asked y'all to pray that Tay got done with the TANA conference so that we could have a mini-vacay.
The mini-vacay happened!
We drove from Murfreesboro, TN to Franklin, TN and saw the double arched bridge over Birdsong Hollow, and then happily hopped onto the Natchez Trace.
Please enjoy the obnoxious photos...We don't get over to the Natchez Trace much (too far away!) and when we do, I turn into the biggest tourist.
But the photos are totally worth it!
We've done the entire Trace before, in July 2009, but didn't get a magnet or a bumper sticker. I was bummed. So the plan was to go from the end of the Trace to the middle, Tupelo, to the Visitor Center and get a magnet and a bumper sticker.
Mission accomplished.
If you've done the Trace and are looking for something better, how dare I right? Try the Blue Ridge Parkway, it's amazing. I also contacted them and in 2-3 weeks, Taylor and I will be receiving our End to Ender Package from the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Y'all, get out and enjoy this.
Put down the remote, the laptop, the iPad.
