Fried Egg

As a precursor, let me apologize for constantly posting about food. It's spring which means summer is getting close, which means that most people are watching their weight and/or try to diet; which in turn means I am starving!

And also let me state, I don't eat eggs. I hate them. Yes, I eat them baked in cakes, but I cannot stand eggs. I hate the way they smell and taste. The only thing enjoyable I find about eggs is making scrambled eggs...Well today, I tried to make a fried egg...for Tay of course. He's made fried eggs before, and he cooked them in bacon grease. Cholesterol, what? Anywho, anything you can do, I can do better, right? And Tay and I are super competitive; even though he always wins, except at Bezzer Wezzer, I kick his tail every time and love every second of it!


 Heating canola oil over medium heat


 The ingredients; gosh I love when they are this simple.


 Frying the egg in canola oil...a hint; spoon the oil over ONLY the white of the egg while it's cooking. When you think the egg is cooked to where you want; then spoon the hot oil over the yolk.



 Yeah, the white of the egg started creeping into my yolk



All done. With a bit of hot sauce and Worcestershire.
