What My Husband Has Learned...

On mine and Taylor's anniversary, October 17, I posted about our wedding and the things that I have learned about him since our time together and our marriage. Looking back, it was kind of one-sided (obviously - it was only my perspective!) so I decided to do a small post about what he's learned about me since marriage...I'm scared. I'm given him instructions on how to post, so once it's posted, there is no going back. Maybe I should say a quick little prayer before handing the computer over.......

Things I've learned about my wife:
1) She loves dogs. English Mastiffs to be exact. She's had two previously, Dudley and Moses, and wants one now. I stress NOW!
2) She loves giraffes, cotton candy, that show about the Duggars, and I'm Pregnant and Didn't Know It
3) Once she steps foot into the house, she takes off her work or day clothes and will go straight into pajama mode (she wears mine, says that they are way more comfortable)
4) She's love to sing, but can't carry a tune in a bucket. On any given weekend night, if she's had the slightest bit to drink, you can find her rocking out to 'Any Man of Mine' or 'Bohemian Rhapsody' on Rock Band...Did I mention that she does this pantless?? Maybe I should steal her camera!
5) She washes all my clothes for me and doesn't complain (at least not to me)
6) If she's telling a story, she likes to use accents. She's got the black woman accent down, her Mexican is impeccable, and she does a killer Sean Connery - it sounds more like Russian, but don't tell her :)
7) If it was up to her, we'd probably have at least 3 kids by now with many more planned...I've put my foot down on that one! Thank God for nieces and nephews.
8) She wears contacts, but I love the days when they start to bother her and she busts out the glasses. She looks like a nerdy librarian gamer.
9) She's a neat freak. Our house is always clean. If its not, she will be stricken with 'my house isn't clean enough anxiety' and will start to Clorox - Kroger Brand of course! She's an avid couponer. We have a serious stock pile of deodorant and shampoo and body wash and toilet paper.
10) I love her. I love that she can start to tell a joke (which is apparently super funny) and start giggling and gut-busting laughing before the punch line. I love that she let's me play my video games and won't bug me while playing - most of the time.

I'm sure there are plenty more, but I was just given the go ahead to play the new Call of Duty.
Got to go, Duty calls...Call of Duty.

  1. Sounds like you have a wonderful relationship and that both of you are very happy!!! But I could see that when you worked on Carly's wedding and still in all of the work you did and grateful for it.
    Love this blog!
