The Wedding Photo List

  When it comes to planning your big day, one thing most photographers will always tell you is, “Make a list!” Providing your photographer ahead of time with a list of essential images you would like to capture for your big day will help streamline the process and allow them to get a better idea of your creative vision.N Not to mention save the photographer and you some stress!

Getting Ready
 - Brides clothing (hanging in a doorway, over a chair, etc...)
- Bride getting hair and make-up done
-Bride and bridesmaids getting dressed, applying make-up
Mother helping with veil, necklace, etc...
- Bride checking herself out in a mirror
- Something old, new, borrowed and blue
- Bride with parents
- Bride with siblings
- Bride with bridesmaids
- Exchanging gifts

The Ceremony
- Guests streaming into the site
- Ushers escorting mothers to their seats
- Grooms face as he anxiously awaits his bride
- Bridesmaids and groomsmen walking down the aisle
- Flower girl/ ringbearer
- Wedding party waiting at the altar
- Groom walking down the aisle
- Bride and father walking down the aisle
- Altar or canopy from the back during the ceremony
- Wide shot of audience during the ceremony
-Hands as they exchange rings
-The kiss
-Bride and groom proceeding up the aisle (smiling endlessly!)

Before the Reception
(These can be taken before the ceremony, if the bride and groom opt to see each other beforehand)
- Bride and groom together
- Bride with parents
- Bride with immediate family
-Groom with parents
- Groom with immediate family
-Bride and groom with all parents
- Bride and groom with immediate family from both sides
-Bride and groom with groomsmen
- Bride and groom with bridesmaids
- Bride and groom with whole wedding party

The Reception
- Shot from outside the reception site
- DETAILS: place cards, guest book, centerpieces, decorations, favors, etc...
- First dance
- Wedding party dancing
-Kids playing or dancing
- Cake table
- Bride and groom cutting the cake 
- Bride and groom feeding each other
-Bouquet toss
-Garter toss
-Bride and groom leaving
