Good morning my lovelies!
This warm weather has me itching, dreaming, praying for Spring and the sweet scents of blooming flowers and rolling hills of green. Anyone else?
Before those HORRIBLE Mississippi temperatures creep up into the 100s and make being outside unbearable, I'm dying to get out of the house and shoot some amazing sessions.
All that to say this, I'm offering waterfall sessions THIS JUNE!
These sessions are for couples; dating, engaged, married, it doesn't matter. Any couple in love.
If you are interested in a waterfall session, please let me know.
There is travel required (we can jam out on the way!), as well as hiking. But I can guarantee it will be worth it.
As a disclaimer, you will get wet! Please have your dry cleaner on standby if you're worried about ruining your clothes or buy an old dress and let's have some fun!
**Session will include 50 minimum images on a custom USB and an online gallery to share with friends and family. **

MEXICO!!!
Mexico was AMAZING!
We arrived Thursday around 2:00 PM and departed early Sunday morning; so we only had 2 full days, but we jam packed a lot of fun, a wedding, alone time, kayaking, and so much more into our short time there.
The whole reason we went down there was because some good friends of ours from anesthesia school were getting married...the best kinds of friends are the ones who decide to get married in Mexico, right?!
Our resort was the best. Seriously. The best. Ever. We will be back.
The food was great. The portions were super small at the restaurants (to cut down on waste), but room service was available ALL DAY. Cheeseburger and hot wings at 2:00 am? Um, yes please!
We did dinner one night called Culinary Theater, which was like watching Chopped and then getting served food, it was amazing! The best course we had was Maiz and Huitlachoche which was a chicken breast stuffed with Huitlacoche (corn fungus 😑) cream of corn, poblano sauce and gnocci. It was so good, we wanted more! And yes, family, I ate it. I ate it all. The picky eater in me disappeared this trip and culinary me showed up!
Did I mention that our room backed up to a lazy river? With a swim up bar attached? And Miguel would come by ever morning and offer us a drink. Frozen Bellini? Sure, it's 9:00 am, why not?

Milk and beer. The staples of our Mexican mini fridge. I was so nervous about carrying breastmilk from Mexico back into the states. I was prepared to dump it, but I was also prepared to kick, scream, and cry to get my milk home. Y'all, I didn't have to do any of it!
When we arrived our the Cancun airport for our return flight, I informed the gate agent that I had breastmilk. The young man seemed very confused and went to his superior. They spoke at length in Spanish. Leche? Yes, leche. Really, leche? Yes y'all, leche! This young man then asked how old our baby was, his name, and seemed super interested! He then escorted us to security and immigration and informed everyone that we had breastmilk. We were allowed to the special assistance line through immigration and security with no issue. I wish I knew that guys name, he was a Delta employee and was so sweet and accommodating! Upon arrival in Atlanta, we had to go through security and customs, AGAIN. I was panicked. I informed them I had breastmilk and ice I got from the gate in Cancun in a cooler. The TSA woman said, "Damn girl, you're supposed to pump and dump, not worry about your milk while on vacation!" She swabbed the cooler, and we were on our way, no problemo!
Mexico was great. We cannot wait to go back!

Florida 2016
Also known as Henry's first vacation. Or our first time to the beach since our honeymoon...6.5 years ago!
And Henry's first time being in a car for 6 consecutive hours. And listening to his mama sing Adele off key for 6 hours. And meeting random strangers in gas stations. And having his diaper changed in the back of the car because the gas station had no changing table and babies don't belong on those nasty floors!
The weather wasn't perfect, but it wasn't horrible either. We had 2 pretty days and 2 overcast days and ample opportunities for Henry photo sessions on the beach. Color this mama EXCITED!
Here's a snippet from our trip...
**WARNING PHOTO OVERLOAD OF CUTE BABY**
And now, some iPhone shots...
