Mr. & Mrs. Hawkins | Mississippi Wedding Photographer

Mr. and Mrs. Hawkins had the most perfect little family wedding I have ever seen. Really. Their ceremony was intimate, cloaked in love, and everyone witnessing the ceremony left with tears in their eyes. I would use the word 'stunning' to describe it, but that doesn't even begin to cover it. When the bride serenaded her husband while walking down the aisle, the entire congregation felt the love between them. It was magical and pure and perfect.

The To-Do List

Of our almost 9 years together, 2015 is proving to be the most difficult/challenging/rewarding.
Here's a glimpse of our to do list for the next 2-3 months.

Double Duty

So I guess it's time that I share some news.
My older brother, the guy in life who is content with beer and Xbox and deer hunting - the one who swore he would never marry - is, well, getting married!

Way to finally jump on that bandwagon Bub!
His soon to be bride has been a friend of mine for yours - and I always thought that we would end up being sisters! And now it's finally happening. Happy? Very!

To my knowledge, some of details are still being ironed out, but I get to perform double duty.
I get to be photographer and bridesmaid. Bring it on! I still haven't worked out all the kinks of how the day is going to go, but I'm going to take a cue from my husband, just shoot from the hip; though not literally of course!

I've already come up with some great photo ideas and already purchased my bridesmaid dress. Things are moving right along! And did I mention the dress is black? And did I mention that with Tay's school they hold a ball every year...so it seems like my dress may be doing double duty as well :)

The Site

For the longest time, I've been procrastinating about actually obtaining a real website.
I'm happy estastic over the moon thrilled to announce that the website is FINALLY launched - after months of planning and editing and redoing and second guessing myself.

But, of course, the blog will still continue ...

Hello all,

To those who are read my blog, thank you so much! I have just recently started my photography business and am already loving it like crazy. Taking photographs in so fun and challenging at the same time. Nowadays, anyone and everyone thinks that they are photographers and I think that is great. I am not one of those people! :) I have been in love with photography since I could see and just recently had the opportunity to start my new adventure as a photographer.
