About a week before sweet Jacob made his way into the world, I met up with his mama and daddy to document the last leg of their pregnancy. And yeah, I'm the type of person who says "they are pregnant" because it's the truth. Granted, daddy's typically don't have to deal with the actual birth, but they are present and play a vital role, the way it should be! Jacob came a few days before his due date and about 3 days after this session...timing is everything.
Before I had my own baby, I was seriously debating on not shooting newborns anymore; it just seemed like an unnecessary stress. After going through labor and delivery and successfully getting my son here, I am now excited about the idea of newborn photos. And plus I get to love on babies, A WHOLE LOT. Dream job? You know it.
