Henry Wallace (9 Months)

My baby bird is 9 months old. And is a ton of fun. And mischief.
He's weighing in at 23 pounds and is 30 inches long.
He's still wearing those size 4 diapers, 12 month sleepers, 12-18 month clothes, and size 4 little red Converse that match his mamas!

He eats everything, but eggs. He cannot stand them and I don't blame him. He loves waffles and french fries and apple juice and things off the floor: leaves, dog hair, rocks...

He's talking and screaming and laughing and giggling and loves to say, "Hey DaDa."
He's also a little Mockingbird...if you click your tongue, he'll click his. And it's freaking adorable.

He's a flirt. And I've noticed that he LOVES black women, no joke. There's this sweet lady who takes care of my grandmother named Dorothy and whenever Henry sees her (or any black woman) he will jump and giggle and beg to be held by them...even random employees at Wal-Mart...it's hilarious and embarrassing at the same time.

He's crawling all over the place, pulling up on everything and standing unsupported, which freaks us out, but he seems to handle it pretty well. He's taken a few steps with the help of one of his walker toys, but it really freaks him out and he'll immediately plant his butt after about 2 steps. That's it Henry, just give up and scream for food instead; just like your mama!

It rained. A lot. We played in it. We may live in town, but we are country.
We took a sink bath and THREW our sippy cup at mama...13 times!
We roamed the backyard
We showed off our two teeth. I has two teef, see?
We played in the clothes hamper
We jumped for joy at the sight of mama coming for me after my nap
Did some shopping at Target...and devoured Cheerios.
How daddy does hair
I walked the dog so mama wouldn't have to
I wore my Pink Floyd shirt while listening to Pearl Jam and had a couch dance party

We almost had a meltdown...over a snow cone.
We played in the clothes hamper.

We pressed our face against the door; and tried to eat the door.
