When I return home from shooting engagement photos, I always want to physically hurt myself. I honestly take 6,000 photos over a one hour span ... I thoroughly enjoy editing, but organizing so many photos is just such a pain!
Sometimes I wonder if I'm just a glutton for punishment, or if by taking the 6,000 photos, there are subtle changes within each one and then you find that gold mine photo. That's my take. It's the photo where your subjects forget that you are there shoving a camera in their face and they just relax and enjoy each others company. Now, that is a gold mine.
These two are getting married in April at a house WAY out in the country, and I couldn't be more excited. While I love church weddings and everything that it symbolizes, sometimes when the weather cooperates, an outdoor wedding cannot be beat. A soft natural breeze. The way the light is as the sun sets ... And I am super stoked that these guys asked me to photograph their wedding.
I'm still weeding through the hundreds of photos I took in our one hour session, but I'm hoping to post a few more when I get more edited.
Stay tuned!
