Memphis Sunset

 For the past few days, every time I cross the old bridge back into Tennessee heading home from work, I've been wanting to stop and document the gorgeous sunsets...but alas, things get in the way: the dog that has been alone since 7:00, the laundry piling up and all that.

Saturday late afternoon, I finally decided that it was the time to grab the gear and head to the park. It was late, almost dark, and the park was empty. Just how I like things. Abandoned.

I'm really hoping to venture to North Memphis in the coming days/weeks and try to photograph the sunset from a different angle; hopefully with the new bridge and the pyramid in view!
