Here lately I've been contemplating the future.
The future of Skelton Photographie.
Right now, as most of you know, the photography studio is my living room/dining room/bedroom...basically whatever room I can work in and not be disturbed.
And also, for the foreseeable future, the "company" cannot grow and expand due to the fact that we are only living in the Memphis metro area until Taylor finishes school.
So Skelton Photographie will continue to run from the Skelton household.
BUT...
I spoke to Taylor today about the future of my business.
He was on board; just as soon as he finishes school and we find out where we will be making our permanent home.
I see Skelton Photographie having a studio in a quaint downtown area.
An actual studio.
Where all my props are in one location.
Where my clients can actually come into my studio.
Where I can showcase my previous work on the walls.
I would obviously continue to photograph weddings, engagements, and everything in between...
some outdoors, some in a studio.
Just a place that Skelton Photographie could call home; instead of my actual home!
A place where all my things have a place.
A place where I can go and do actual work.
Sometimes, my family thinks that since I have the computer in front of me; I'm open to conversation, that I'm not working. Trust me, I am!
But, alas, all this is just a dream, for the time being.
